Come join us for an in-person adventure celebrating the magic of stories from every corner of the globe! Dive into amazing tales, meet fellow book lovers, and share your favorite reads. Before moving to Pewley Hill, Steve Markwell and family had lived in places as close-by as Merrow, and as far-off and exotic as the Netherlands, Paris, Durban Natal, Toronto, Hertfordshire, and more! Steve is going to explain why he loves reading and writing, and he will recount some of the more amusing incidents he recorded along the travelled road. He will read some excerpts from his published work, including tales from Surrey Hills SuperHeroes and The Ginger Cat who Loved to Wander, both of which have local links. Whether you're a poetry fan, a novel nerd, or just curious, there’s something here for you. Let's travel the world together, one page at a time!
