Home Education: The Changing Landscape at Rye Harbour

About
Learn about the changing landscape of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve and explore how we have learnt to live alongside the moving coastline. Join our Wilder Learning Officer Aimi and learn about the changing landscape of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve over the last 100 years and think about how it might change in the next 500 years! We will explore how we have learnt to live alongside the moving coastline and explore the changes through different mapping activities on the Reserve. Out on the reserve we will identify and sketch different man-made and natural features that all link to make the special landscape that it is. Back in the education room we will then create a mixed media landscape prints inspired by the changing landscape. Suitable for children aged 5 to 12 years, who must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
