This September, the Ibiza underground will experience two distinct sides of Romanian selector and sound designer Oliviu. Known as a foundational architect of the underground romanian sound, Oliviu is stepping out of the minimal shadows this Tuesday for a rare, unannounced 'alter ego' set at Ibiza’s legendary Funky Room, serving as a vibrant prelude to his highly anticipated 20-year retrospective exhibition, DENEUITAT. Oliviu trades the deep, hypnotic micro-grooves for pure Balearic sunshine. He will debut an exclusive alter ego set rooted entirely in classic house, disco, and uplifting funk. For the artist, this is a love letter to his earliest musical influences from the late '90s—a time of smiling faces and infectious basslines.
