About this event

This face-to-face CPD day is open to HCPC registered Podiatrists that hold current POM-A annotation. It is not a competency-based training day because Verrucae Needling is not considered to be extended scope of practice. The Royal College of Podiatry have confirmed that members who attend this course will be covered by their indemnity insurance to perform this procedure. Current podiatry students and new graduates can attend. Pre-reading documents, copies of the presentations and videos will be sent (via Google Drive), one week before the event. Certificates of attendance will be issued after the event. Programme Outline: VPs – Aetiology and manifestation of HPV associated warts/verrucae, Verrucae management and the evidence base, Local anaesthesia (Update) – anatomy, theory, techniques, demo and videos, Verrucae Needling – theory and videos.
